mpcCARE – All are welcome to meet in the Green Room of the Goldsmith Centre on Sunday 20 May at 12 Noon to discuss how we can best care for the people in our neighbourhood.

Mission Prayer Lunch – Let’s bring and share lunch together at Christie Sharman’s place, 5 Kennedy Place, Albany Creek, on Sunday 20 May at 1pm.   Erica Jones will be sharing about her school chaplaincy work and we will be praying for various areas of local and global evangelism.

Christianity Explored – Starts Monday May 21st with Stu Hoadley. A short course that gives you time and space to think through who Jesus is and why it matters. Take an invitation card for a friend. It’s free, but please register online at mpc.org.au/onelife as soon as you can.

The Parenting Course – Launches Tuesday June 5. Runs for six weeks with a break for school holidays. The video-based seminars feature Nicky and Sila Lee from The Marriage Course, and your on-site hosts will be Phil and Louise Campbell. Registration: Single  $50, Couple $80; includes course materials and light supper. Register and pay online at www.mpc.org.au/parenting. Discounts available – click for information on the rego page.

The Campbells will be heading off for two weeks’ break tomorrow. Contact Derek Hanna for assistance this week; Stu Hoadley will be back on deck from May 20th.

Starting February, we’ll be joining our network partner churches (Eatons Hill, Wavell Heights, Clayfield, Wilston and Kenmore Presbyterian) in an exciting new venture. We’re working together to develop an integrated teaching program on John’s gospel called “Find Life.” Studies, children’s programs and the main church teaching program will all be co-ordinated, and linked to adverts around the north side of Brisbane.

EBC Aids Newsletter

A few months ago we set the task of every man, women and child in mpc giving $10 to EBCAids program bring run in Namibia to educate people about HIV-Aids.  If you were wondering how the program is going, you can catch up with what’s happening in this newsletter.
