MPC Youth exists to come alongside parents in discipling their teens. We see parents as the first responder to their teen’s faith. Parents–first. Church–second. Youth group–third. This means that we want to be encouraging and equipping parents in their ministry at home.

One way we’re doing that this year is by hosting ‘Partnering with Parents Workshops’. These are low-key gatherings which are aimed at hearing from the Bible, sharing stories, and praying with each other. This year, our Bible content will be from Paul Tripp’s conference talks–Parenting: It’s not what you think it is. Each workshop, parents will gather together to hear a video talk, discuss, and pray. Check out this teaser below:

I’m praying that this is an encouraging and useful time for thinking about how the gospel of Christ shapes parenting. You can find the dates for these workshops on the MPC Youth webpage.
